Supporting Education, Land Resource Management and Social Service Programs in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region.

The Samuel P. Pardoe Foundation supports education, land resource management and social service programs in the Lakes Region New Hampshire.

There is a particular interest in programs that provide opportunities for disadvantaged persons, especially children.

Our next deadline for submissions will be Tuesday, January 15, 2013.
Please note that we have changed our submission process to an online application, so please review our “How to Apply” page before submitting. Proposals must be received by midnight on the day of the deadline in order to be considered for this grant cycle. The Foundation will not accept any proposals submitted via mail or email.

Education

The focus is on support for programs on a pre-collegiate level that enhance the educational experiences of New Hampshire children. There is a special interest in increasing access to educational opportunities, particularly experiential learning. The Foundation will also support literacy, tutoring and arts education programs.

Land and Resource Management

The focus is on support for programs related to specific conservation initiatives. The Foundation will also support programs that educate New Hampshire residents about conservation and other environmental issues.

Social Services

The focus is on support for programs that provide for basic human needs including housing, job training, counseling, and health.
